Hampstead Village in the Snow

Up towards Church Row, there’s a private road where cars can’t go:


The snow was extra crisp:


The lamposts had icicles:


And the church itself was very pretty:


Hampstead’s decision to stick with traditional designs for postboxes and telephone cabins seems even more commendable in weather like this:


On the way back, I had hoped to visit Fenton House and its garden.  It was shut:


But you were welcome to look at the graveyards round the corner:
